Ευστράτιος Μανδαμαδιώτης
Γεννήθηκε το 1925 στο Κάτω Τρίτος της Λέσβου. Κατέβηκε στην πόλη της Μυτιλήνης για το Γυμνάσιο και επέστρεψε στο χωριό του όπου για λίγα χρόνια ανέλαβε τη γραμματειακή υποστήριξη του ελαιοτριβείου του Συνεταιρισμού της Μιχούς. Σε ηλικία 29 ετών αποφασίζει και ανοίγει ελαιομεσιτικό γραφείο στα Λαδάδικα και συγχρόνως εκπροσωπούσε για ένα χρονικό διάστημα τις ασφάλειες της εταιρίας Nordstern. Γρήγορα κέρδισε την εμπιστοσύνη της “πιάτσας “και τη στήριξη των συναδέλφων του και εμπόρων όπως του Εμμανουήλ Αξιώτη. Συνεργαζόταν με παραγωγούς και εμπόρους της Γέρας, του Κάτω Τρίτους, της Μιχούς…
Το 1980 αποφασίζει και αγοράζει το ελαιοτριβείο του Συνεταιρισμού της Μιχούς που κάποτε εργαζόταν ως γραμματέας. Σταματάει πλέον τη δραστηριότητά του ως ελαιομεσίτης και συνεχίζει ως ελαιοτριβέας για αρκετά χρόνια…
Πέθανε σε ηλικία 95 ετών το 2020.

Efstratios Manthamadiotis was born in Kato Tritos on Lesvos in 1925. He moved to the city of Mytilene for his secondary education but after his schooling returned to his village to do secretariat work in the olive press of the cooperative in Mychou. At the age of 29 Efstratios Manthamadiotis decided to open his own olive oil agency in Ladadika and at the same time acted as a local insurance agent for Nordstern. He soon had a good reputation in the olive oil market, having been supported by some of his colleagues like the oil agent Emmanuel Axiotis. Efstratios Manthamadiotis was collaborating with producers and oil merchants in the areas of Geras, Kato Tritos, Mychou and other areas.
In 1980, he decided to buy the olive press of the cooperative in Mychou, where sometime in the past he had been employed for secretariat work. He stopped then working as an olive oil agent and continued working in his olive press for several years.
He died in 2020 at the age of 80.
